How to Add Color to Walls Without Paint

No paint allowed?  No problem!  Add color to your walls by shopping the clearance rack at your local Bed, Bath, and Beyond.

My “Painted” Wall

I’m not allowed to paint the walls in my apartment…sucks, I know, but I found a way around it.  I was shopping at Bed, Bath, and Beyond a year or so ago and came across a sheet that was on sale for 5 bucks!  5 bucks!!  There was nothing wrong with it, it just used to be part of a set and was recently orphaned.  I threw it in the cart, thinking I can use it for something…

I went home that day and decided to nail it to my wall.  Boom.  Instant room change.  No paint, no plastic, no panic.  Simply nail a small nail into the top and bottom corners on one side and do the same on the other.  Best thing is you can change it with your mood or with the season and you don’t have to worry about repainting before you move out.

Celebrate creativity every Wednesday with a “Creativi-bee” post, where I share easy craft tutorials, project ideas, and craft collections.

  2. Great idea! Saves so much hassle and, if done right, can look just as good if not cleaner!

Marshalls and TJ Maxx are also great areas to look for single sheets 🙂
